1. Try on clothing for your headshot photo session a week in advance so you know if anything needs adjusted or of you want to go out and grab any additional accessories.
2. Don’t be afraid of color. You will change once during your headshot photo session so feel free to make that second look a little more bold!
3. Your portraits should be a reflection of you. Choose outfits you love. Think of those special pieces you might not wear often because they’re impractical for day-to-day use, or the go-to
blouse you always wear when you’re going somewhere nice. Bonus: jackets and pant pockets give your hands something to do!
4.Take time to get your nails done, book the makeup artist, or have your hair done. Feeling confident for your photos will help to create confident photos. Take time for you and enjoy!
5. Have fun! Your personality will shine when you are able to relax. If that means a glass of wine before your 9 am headshot photo session, so be it!
