You probably remember Sam. She and Kevin were married last year in Malibu! Sam was a Bengal cheerleader before her venture into mommy-hood! We had a blast shooting their gorgeous event! To see their wedding, click here!!

When Sam wanted to do pregnancy photos I was super jazzed! She and Kevin welcomed their little one into the world just a week or two ago!! I am heading over to photograph little baby Preston next week!!

It is so not fair. When I was this close to delivery I looked like the Pillsbury Dough Boy! Ask Ted, he’ll tell ya!

Sam was the perfect prego girl. From the back there was NO WAY you would have known she was pregnant!! Her belly was a perfectly shaped basketball!

I love when the perfect gust of wind shows up at just the right time!

I swear that one of my favorite parts of having a kid was buying the adorable shoes!! Hey, don’t judge. When the little guy spends the whole night keeping you up screaming you need adorable shoes to keep you sane!

I just love this part of my job! Being able to photograph the coolest milestones in people’s lives! Sam and Kevin, I cannot wait to meet your little guy!

Man this engagement session was fun!! Charlie and Maggie live in Cleveland and booked over the phone so this was the first time we met in person. When I walked into the Starbucks in Oxford I was blown away by their absolute gorgeousness! Now only are they gorgeous on the outside but after a couple of hours dodging the rain, jumping through fields of yellow flowers and trespassing on the RADDEST little piece of land, I got to know them and their beautiful insides.

Maggie and Charlie’s wedding is right around the corner! We are so ready to head up to Cleveland and document their once in a lifetime big day! Can you even imagine Maggie as a bride?? I mean, SERIOUSLY.

Steve and Reagan are the proud parents of two of the cutest little girls you have ever seen! Sadie, their youngest, just turned one. I was so excited to be able to shoot her one year old photos as just a couple of years ago I was shooting her oldest sisters one year old photos! Sadie has amazed me since day one. From the first day I met her in the hospital she has been the most compliant, good natured little girl! Our Micah was such a handful when he was a little one that to see her be happy and chill all the time is just amazing! hahaha!

Steve and Reagan have been such great friends to us! They have been over to make “Ted heads” when Ted turned 30….they came prop bowling for my birthday and gladly wore the ridiculous t-shirts I hand made for them…they have made super fabulous videos for our business and family, one being out in the freezing cold at Christmas time! I mean really, that is some friend dedication! Thanks guys!

So, Steve and Reagan have a tradition that on their girls first birthdays they purchase a large cake and dunk them in it.!! We did it with Mya and it was a ball! Now, Sadie, the fact that you have creative parents may be a blessing and a curse!

She went from loving it, to loathing it in about 3 minutes!

I thought it so appropriate that in the middle of Sadie freaking out about being in the cake, Mya walks over…not to comfort her sister, but to steal a lick of the frosting! Perfect sister move! hahahaha!! What makes it really funny is that Mya is actually a super sweet older sister! She just had her eyes on the prize!!!

And then after stealing the lick, she pats her on the head with more frosting! Can’t you hear it now…. Mya is 16 and Sadie is 13. They are sitting in the living room looking through old photos when Sadie says, “See, look at this one! You have been a stinker to me since day one!” That is totally how it would have went between me and my sisters!

Thank you guys for having me there to photograph so many huge milestones with your family! It has been a pleasure!! Ok, time for number three guys! What? If you don’t there will be no more baby cake sessions?!?!?!
