When the lovely Alison Wenstrup from Aviva Events asked if I would photograph her sister with her brand new gorgeous family I was so excited! You can totally tell these two are sisters! They look almost identical! :)

Ryan, Colin and Calum live in Scotland and were just here for a short time so they could show off their latest addition! Calum is just about 6 months and he is hysterical! The amount of facial expressions this child has should qualify him for some type of award! He was such a good sport in the heat and dealing with all of us trying to get him to smile and make faces!! :) It’s tough being so cute, huh Calum?? :)

Look at this Gerber baby! Those blue eyes, blonde hair, ugh! I just want to squeeze his little cheeks!!

When the hat came out I was just cracking up! I am such a sucker for cute kiddo hats!

Whoops!! I love how it looks like he is totally complaining about not being able to see! :)

I think he looks a ton like mom!

So I think we determined quickly that Calum was not in love with this outfit. :)

So we stripped him naked and he was happy as a lark! I love his face here!

And here! By the time we got to the Scottish Kilt he was over the outfit changes I think! :) But the face, classic!

Happy baby!!

Looooove this one.

Look at his face!! So sweet!!!!!

I have to confess that the very first photo we took we put him in the grass thinking he might be able to balance and well, he didn’t! He did a slight face plant into the grass and you could tell he knew who set up that shot! :) So, in order to get back into his good graces, I made sure we had hand holding from there on out! :)

The sisters!!

Alison was pretty excited to have her little nephew here finally!! :)

Another favorite of mine! Such a sweet little family!!!

Calum, thanks for workin’ it for me for so long, in such heat! You were a trooper and I can’t wait to photograph you again! :) Oh, and when you are allowed to finally eat ice cream, I owe you one for the face plant. :)

It is a rainy Tuesday everyone so hang in there! :) Remember, if you are bored, sitting at your desk at work, looking out the window at the dark rainy day….. go ahead and leave us a comment. It will make the sunshine come out. Seriously, try it. It works. :)

When you hold him he feels just like he should. A warm, snuggly sweetie with the aroma of baby magic. A little touch of heaven! Preston belongs to the lovely Sam and Kevin. They were married last year in Malibu and if you follow the blog you will not only remember the wedding but also Sam’s gorgeous maternity photos! She was the CUTEST prego chick EVER. Really, she did not gain an ounce anywhere. It was ALL out front! Lucky girl!

Preston was nice enough to allow me to put him in any random location I desired. He was cool with it. We had a chat beforehand.

I think I must have been boring him. Ok Preston, next shot I promise to shake it up a little. :)

I am not sure what he was trying to tell me here. Let’s just say he must of not liked the angle I was photographing him at!! I have to admit that I LOVE the crying photos. Maybe because at this age it is soooooooooo realistic. Keepin’ it real, that’s me. :)

We had to remember the original baby of the family!! I think Callie was likin’ a little bit of the spotlight!

I just love this one. Sweet little baby!

Oh, how I love this one too…..

Melt my heart.

Pretty chipper group for having a newborn and living off no sleep, eh??? :)

We decided to head outdoors for a bit. We didn’t stay long as it was HOOOOT out there! We had to get some shots of Preston on the quilt that was handmade by his Grandma!

Perfect. Just perfect.

Congrats to Sam, Kevin, Callie and baby Preston!! Such an adorable brand new family!!! I can’t wait to see how this little man grows and changes. It has been so fun to document all of these huge events in your life. We have enjoyed every minute. :)

Have a great weekend everyone! We will be shooting a fabulous wedding in Mt. Adams all day. If you are driving through, give us a wave! Remember, WE LOVE YOUR COMMENTS!!! :)

Steve and Reagan are the proud parents of two of the cutest little girls you have ever seen! Sadie, their youngest, just turned one. I was so excited to be able to shoot her one year old photos as just a couple of years ago I was shooting her oldest sisters one year old photos! Sadie has amazed me since day one. From the first day I met her in the hospital she has been the most compliant, good natured little girl! Our Micah was such a handful when he was a little one that to see her be happy and chill all the time is just amazing! hahaha!

Steve and Reagan have been such great friends to us! They have been over to make “Ted heads” when Ted turned 30….they came prop bowling for my birthday and gladly wore the ridiculous t-shirts I hand made for them…they have made super fabulous videos for our business and family, one being out in the freezing cold at Christmas time! I mean really, that is some friend dedication! Thanks guys!

Steve is the owner of Studio Z Films…. and he is the best. Really. Hands down he rocks the house! Click here to visit his blog and see the sweet little film he put together for Sadie’s first birthday!

Ok, on to the photos!! Meet Sadie. Look at this face! I just want to squeeze those cheeks!!

Meet Mya, Sadie’s adorable older sister. :)

Mya has had a yellow washrag that she has been attached to forever! She was very interested in showing it off!

Meet Steve, the proud papa. :)

And last but not least, the mama that glues the whole group together, Reagan! Together they make one adorable family!!!

“Hey Mya! How old is Sadie??”

I just looooove this photo. How precious!!!

So, Steve and Reagan have a tradition that on their girls first birthdays they purchase a large cake and dunk them in it.!! We did it with Mya and it was a ball! Now, Sadie, the fact that you have creative parents may be a blessing and a curse! :)

Oh yeah baby, feel the sugar rush!

Sugar and spice between the toes!

She went from loving it, to loathing it in about 3 minutes! :)

I thought it so appropriate that in the middle of Sadie freaking out about being in the cake, Mya walks over…not to comfort her sister, but to steal a lick of the frosting! Perfect sister move! hahahaha!! What makes it really funny is that Mya is actually a super sweet older sister! She just had her eyes on the prize!!!

And then after stealing the lick, she pats her on the head with more frosting! Can’t you hear it now…. Mya is 16 and Sadie is 13. They are sitting in the living room looking through old photos when Sadie says, “See, look at this one! You have been a stinker to me since day one!” That is totally how it would have went between me and my sisters! :)

Thank you guys for having me there to photograph so many huge milestones with your family! It has been a pleasure!! :) Ok, time for number three guys! What? If you don’t there will be no more baby cake sessions?!?!?! :)

Remember, we love your comments!!! :)
