There are SO many shoots to post! I know I keep saying that but when I think of all of fun shoots and weddings we have had the honor to do this past year that we have not yet posted I get so overwhelmed! This shoot was extra special to me. We actually jumped in our car and took a LOVELY drive to Charlottesville, Virginia for this engagement shoot! The entire drive was so gorgeous. There were times when I was staring out the window with my mouth wide open….literally! I have to say that Virginia is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Not to mention that we went when the fall colors were off the hook!

If you ever have the time, you have to go to Charlottesville. Ted had to spend a few weeks talking me out of wanting to move there after we got home! The beauty and history of that town is incredible. Charlottesville is home of the University of Virginia which was founded by Thomas Jefferson in 1819. The grounds of the school are amazingly beautiful and since Maggie and Daniel are alumni, we decided to begin the shoot there!

After leaving downtown we shot over to a GORGEOUS vineyard nearby. I could have photographed here all day!

I have to say that I think Daniel could model for Ralph Lauren and Maggie looks straight out of an Anthropology ad! He total has that classic look to him!

This could be my favorite. You know me, I am more into the emotion than the location…. so this is so perfect in my brain.

I cannot wait to head east again soon! Thank you Maggie and Daniel for inviting us to shoot in Virginia! It was so amazing and the wedding is going to be so much fun!!!
