I just LOVE going to a pumpkin patch. It is just good for the soul. It reminds you of being little and the pure excitement of picking out the perfect pumpkin to carve. It is the official sign that the holiday season is near and that new family memories are on the way! This year, our good friends Reagan and Steve came along with their two ADORABLE little girls. It was a few days after the terenchal down pour so the ground was sopping wet….which made for some mud. A lot of mud. By the time we were finished I was so excited to find extra clothes in the car because Micah looked like he had been out playing with the pigs all day!

Their were lots of parents trying to get photos of their kids and the pumpkins. Many of them would smile and hold up their pumpkin. Mine, not so much.

I must say that I prefer being behind the camera most of the time but, I love when Ted takes photos of Micah and I together. I do not have a lot of photos of my mom and I together when I was little.

SBP 18

Micah LOVES to be tickled. I don’t really get it. I HATE being tickled. Always have.

SBP 15

I just love these boys. :)

SBP 16

This was the whole Pumpkin Patch Troop! I love Mya’s face in this photo! She is such a doll. Little Sadie was totally passed out in her stroller!

SBP 12

I love this photo because everyone  in it was doing exactly what they did most of the time. Steve playing with Mya, Ted checking the football game stats on his IPhone and Micah dancing around! Love it!

SBP 10

While we were there we took some shots for the Studio Z Films Family! Sadie was not so sure about all of that. :)

SBP 19

But she LOVED the pumpkins! At first….

SBP 13

Quickly, she decided it was time to move on. :)

SBP 20

What a sweet little face!

SBP 5

I LOVE this photo. So sweet. Mya really loves her sister. Steve and Reagan, show them this photo when they are 16 and 13 and they are fighting over clothes to remind them of that!

SBP 3

Mama love…

SBP 2

I can’t tell you how much I love this photo. OK, I will. I LOVE THIS PHOTO!!!! :)

SBP 1

This should be an ad for something. Way to work it Mya.

SBP 21

I looked over and caught this moment…. Mya putting the moves on my poor defenseless Micah. :) HAHAHA!! Just kidding Steve, calm down. :)

SBP 7

But, then I caught Micah doing the same thing! What can I say? He loves blondes! I love the look on his face like he is totally doing something bad… and loving it!

SBP 4

Ready, set, GO!!

SBP 9

Thank you guys for such a fun trip to the pumpkin patch! We had a ball sliding down slides, going for a hayride and eating caramel apples!! Next year we will try not to go during the football game so Steve and Ted will not have to check their IPhones every few minutes! Men, I tell ya!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

How flipping sweet are those!?!?!?!?!?!?! What an incredible day it was and you created some amazing memories and them captured them for us. YOU ROCK! Now if we can only teach you what good comedy is. :)

  2. Reagan+Z:

Holy smokes, the pics are beyond words. You two are so freaking awesome, not only talented photographers but also a great family, who has such a positive, energetic vibe. Every time we are around you guys, we are always smiling and laughing. I can’t thank you enough. Mya says thanks too and she had so much fun with her boyfriend, Micah. :)

  3. Grandma Nancy:

These pictures of Mya and Sadie are the best. I am so proud to be their Grandma. These pictures capture their outer and inter beauty and personality. I have never seen pictures that looked like they could speak to you.
So happy that you took them so that I can have these moments instilled forever.
You are an amazing photographer. Not everyone can take such wonderful pictures of children. What a talent you have.
