Ted and I leave a lot of weddings feeling super jealous of the incredible friendships people have. Brenna and Scott have so many loyal family and friends. I think that says a lot about who they are. I loved watching the amazing connection between Brenna and her sister. It made me smile to watch her sister take on the nervousness of the day for her!

We were so excited for Brenna and Scott’s wedding! When I photographed their engagement session I spent the entire time laughing and really getting to know them! Brenna and Scott are two of the happiest people I have ever met! I love the looks Scott gives Brenna. He has a look of total love and happiness. That is they way it should be. I hope that in 30 years you will look back at these photos and remember the love you have for each other now.

Brenna got dressed at her parents beautiful home. And now, the dress!! :)

I love these shoes!!!

I love seeing the excitement on a brides face when she gets to FINALLY wear THEE dress!!!!

I love this photo for a few reasons! I love Brenna catching one last look before seeing Scott for the first time…but I love her facial expression and then her sister behind her looking as nervous as she could be! What a good sister…. :)

Oh how I love a birdcage veil…

Brenna!!! This is GORGEOUS!! You are GORGEOUS!!!

Hello brown-eyed girl! Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-a-la-te-da! Just like that….

Brenna’s bouquet was  simple and classic. LOVE IT!

In the meantime, the men were at Brenna and Scott’s house getting ready in the man cave.

They took this man cave very seriously….

I know there are a lot of bride and grooms out there wondering if they should see each other before the wedding. Every couples schedule is different for their wedding day but if you are worried about whether or not the moment is just as fabulous, these photos should answer your question!!

Scott and Brenna, you two are adorable together…

The fall leaves were amazing!!

This group was SO MUCH FUN! We love an energetic wedding party! This photo could be in the dictionary under the definition of super rad wedding party!!

This group of photos just makes me smile! Do you think she was excited to marry Scott???!!!

I so wish I had a photo like this of my parents on their wedding day. Heck, I wish I had a photo of Ted and I like this on our wedding day!! That is a whole other blog post!

I’m going to look into that dictionary option…. :)

Off to get married!!!!!

Brenna cried all the way down the aisle!

And then during the ceremony! Do you see the tear rolling down her face? So sweet!

There was also a lot of laughter! I can’t remember what was happening here but I think there was some trouble getting that ring on!

I was so excited when I caught this moment!

The reception at Drees Pavilion was just beautiful.

Details, details, details….

The first dance! The Clyde Brown Band took care of the music. They are definitely one of our favorites!!!

You can’t photograph at Drees Pavilion without taking some night shots with the city view. MWAH!

It was such a fun day Brenna and Scott! Thank you for letting Ted and I share it with you! Lets catch up soon!!! Thank you to everyone who stopped by today to read our blog. It is so cool to me that there are people who follow our blog and share our passion for photography and capturing life. And remember, we love hearing your comments!! Happy Thursday everyone!

Vegas Baby! Renee and Ryan are Married

Written by: Kortnee on January 18, 2010

There’s a genuine connection between Renee and Ryan that makes you feel good about the future of love. :) They are so outgoing and so chill all at the same time. I know they are going to giggle when they read this but I really cannot ever picture them having an argument. You never do guys…. do you? :)

Besides their amazing connection, there is so much creative talent between the two of them! Renee is the proud owner of a fabulous design business called Ribbons of Red. She was so key in the design of our logo and site. Ryan is a talented magician and entrepreneur (who I just recently discovered has his own blog!). Needless to say, they will have talented and creative babies that is for sure!

When Renee and Ryan first contacted us, we sadly had to tell them that we were already booked for their wedding date. We were so bummed as they sounded so great over the phone and the wedding was in Vegas… and if you know anything about us, we love to travel! So, we actually flew in the day after their actual wedding and spent two fabulous days shooting all around the city as well as the desert and dry lake beds. Yeah, it was super fun!

What better place to begin a shoot in Vegas then in a casino??

This type of decor can only be found in Vegas. :) Howdy partner!!

Randomly placed GINORMOUS (from the movie elf, seriously…is that how you spell that?) slot machine!!

When I saw this wall I was so excited!! Ryan being a magician I mean really… we had to shoot there. I was not aware of his incredible card throwing abilities. He pulled that one out when we got there. Love it. :)

You can’t really shoot in Vegas and not hit The Neon Sign Museum! How fun is this place!!!!??

Although I could tell that it was starting to have a negative effect on them…..

But, they made up. :)

Night shooting in the city of lights. Yum. :)

When I saw the fountain in front of the Bellagio dancing to the music I knew we had to shoot there. It was seriously a cool moment. The song, Time to say Goodbye was playing and I have to admit, I was fighting back the tears. I know, I’m a big girl. So what? ;)

The loveliness of shooting for two days is the number of fun locations you can hit! The dry lake beds certainly fall under that description!!

Ryan showed us his hot moves!!! I was cracking up as I watched the desert dust fly through the air when while his feet were going nuts! SO FUNNY!

Love it.

I guess they felt sorry for me. Guys, believe me, I am much better behind the camera. ;)

{{{sigh}}}…… I wish we were there right now. WE HAD A BALL!!!! So many fabulous memories! Thank you guys for giving us the honor of documenting your love. MWAH!

It is just pretty cool when you open up a magazine to see photos that you took! We were so excited to see that Chris and Brooke’s gorgeous wedding was featured this month in the the knot Ohio magazine! YEY! We had such a fabulous time photographing their wedding!

The beautiful ceremony was held at the Basilica in Covington, KY. Loooooovely place to take photos….

Brooke likes bling as so many of us ladies do! ;) The cake was no exception! The reception was at the Hall of Mirrors in the Hilton located in downtown Cincinnati. I love this photo of the girls…no joke, it was no more than 5 degrees outside and these girls held in there like champs! Like champs I tell ya! They tried really hard to not look cold but, how can you not under those conditions?!

Brooke and Chris are an adorable couple that will be incredible in every venture they take on in life. We felt very honored to be a part of their unforgettable day! Thanks guys! ;)
